Day 1 - GUATEMALA CITY
Reception at Guatemala City International Airport. Transfer to hotel in Guatemala City. Guatemala City Overnight
Day 2 - ANTIGUA GUATEMALA
Our journey today takes us to visit one of the oldest cities in the Americas: Antigua Guatemala, founded by the Spaniards in the year 1543 during the conquest. Antigua Guatemala was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a city of ruins, churches, convents, cobbled streets, craft shops, art museums and of course the color and culture of the people expressed in all its splendour. Afternoon free time to explore. Day 3 – CHICHICASTENANGO MARKET
Will go to Chichicastenango for the famous open-air Indian market and the church of Santo Tomás built 400 years ago. Here you can see how local people mingle Catholic ceremonies and prehispanic rites . We continue to Panajachel on Lake Atitlán, renowned for the breathtaking view of the lake and its three volcanoes San Pedro, Atitlan and Toliman. Afternoon free time to enjoy this peaceful and beautiful place. Panajachel Overnight
Day 4 – LAKE ATITLAN
Walk to the dock to the boat and tackle visit the indigenous village of Santiago Atitlan, walk in the streets to see how its residents make their crafts such as weavers and painters. Return to Panajachel, and transfer to Guatemala City. Guatemala City Overnight
Day 5 - TIKAL.
Early in the morning transfer to La Aurora International Airport for flight to visit the Peten and Tikal National Park. Visit the Q complex, Plaza Central, Acropolis North and Center, Lost world, Temple IV where you can admire the green of the jungle.. Lunch. In the afternoon transfer to the Flores airport, to take your flight to back Guatemala City. Guatemala City Overnight.
Day 6 - DEPARTURE
Transfer to Guatemala City International Airport.
